Why can't
make a stripped down version of every firmware and make them available at their service points ?
It shouldn't be to much trouble making one cuz your only taking stuff away...
Personally I don't want any of the pre installed tones or pictures in my T300 and it bugs me to have ~300 k going to waist
Maby it's even possible for a person who knows his shit to make an own 'light' version of a firmware and publish it on the web ?!?

SW for SE phones are much harder to "hack" compared to Nokia's... back here there are customized SW for Nokia's for all shapes and sizes...
