GPRS, WAP, MMS and Email setup
> T300 Email and MMS Setup
Bookmark topic
I recently bought a T300 for Vodofone (UK). When I checked my yahoo email on WAP, my phone added the yahoo profile into my email. It hasn't saved all of the information needed to send and receive emails and I can't send pictures by email or MMS. Does anyone know how to setup the phone to receive mail from either yahoo or hotmail. Also when I try to send an mms it says GPRS failed. Do I have to call vodofone to allow GPRS? I'm thinking about getting a communi cam so I will need to be able to send pictures

you cannot set it up with yahoo, since the free yahoo doenst support pop3 anymore. find some other email provider with pop3 support and so you can set it up to check emails. check your mms settings, so that it connects thru its mms gprs, not common gprs.

go register with NowMMS.com
they give you settings for free mms to any network,
just register and choose the configuration screen to fix it. u should be able to send MMS u might have to contact network provider to enbable GPRS there should be a little blue triangle in the bottom left screen in stand by mode.
if it aint threr phone em up.
sort it out
but dont tell them that ur gonna use the NowMMS settings. but when network probiders send u the settings or activate your GPRS on your account then afterwards go and change to NowMMS settings.
sorry my english is not that good,
YEA

you will see the blue triangle when the following are true:
a) GPRS is offered by your provider;
b) You are subscribed to the service;
c) You are in an area where there is a GPRS signal; and
d) You have set your phone's preferred service to GPRS and GSM (menu 8>7>2) (This also means that you may not see the blue triangle though a, b and c is true because you're preferred service is set to GSM only.

Thanks for the prompt reply Gowin
I have gprs enabled
I use it on a regular basis
My prefered service is set to gprs AND gsm (its either that or gsm on t300)
So really I have no idea why this mysterious blue triangle does nto show.
Have U got an image fiel showing what its supposed to look like please?
thanks
