> Light function for P1i?

the other day, we had to trek some foot path with no light, and we had no any other source of light but my P1i, what I did was open the camera apps and half-press the button, although it solved the problem, it would be better if I dont have to hold the button just to keep the light on, and the camera apps is slow to open so it takes sometimes, maybe theres a simple application that can turn on and torn of the light?

Ideally, you want to be able press and hold a key, such as the camera key to activate the light. Less preferable would be to simply have a app which you could put in the shortcuts, or an action tied to a key (Longcuts springs to mind here).
I'm not a UIQ programmer, so I have no idea how difficult it would be, but if someone can code something like LongCuts, I'm sure you should be able to do it for the light too.

Im no programmer but there should be a Torch app out there for UIQ3 phones just like there is a Torch app called NTorch Lite for S60 phones which im using on my N80. Maybe mysymbian or ipmart might have a UIQ3 torch app.
