I originally was going to get a sim only deal from Three for £15 a month with a £2.75 internet addon.
I found they offered the same deal witha k610i free, as I needed a spare ericsson charger it seemed like a good deal...
now I have cancelled my other contract, unlocked my w900i, and put the three sim in that.
I then contacted three to get the settings sent to my phone who said my handset was not unsupported by them, and could not do email on their network as it incompatible......
Well I explained that the phones were so similar I could not see a problem, but they just kept saying ''incompatible'' until I eventually gave up.
I managed to find some settings on here to get the browsing working, but when I browse on my handset some content is missing, some links dont display, and some pages just say, you guessed it, your equipment can not display this page.
Grrr its the same browser on both phones!
Can I make my w900i 'fake' its browser/ phone identity so that it can display the pages?
(IE like you can make firefox appear to a website as Internet explorer)
I also have no success in getting google email to work, on either my 900i or the ''official'' k610i, but have had no trouble with threemail or runbox (pop3 and imap) (yes I have enabled pop3 on google)

It is possible 3 check the useragent string of the phone and then complain when its not one on their network hence you get the "not supported messages". you could probably change the firmware to change the userstring or use some browser that allowed it but don't know of any.
As for gmail. What internet add-on to you have? you need atleast the x-series add-on to get "true" internet. x-series silver is £5 month for unlimited and includes msn, skype, etc. Believe the normal data allowances are just for normal http traffic and don't allow pop3 etc.
I had x-series silver on my account when with three and could use google. even worked with the new imap and push email before I left
lol.
Cheers,
