I'm wondering why i cant delete e-mails from my inbox? it lets me mark them for deletion, but then never delete's them?
Can someone please tell me how i delete them from my inbox permenantly.

they will only be physically deleted when you do the next send/receive

if you are usng push email, I think it is also under options /clear inbox

If you are using IMAP this is a two step operation:
1. Mark the message/messages for deletion.
2. Choose "Clear inbox".
If you are using POP:
1. Mark the message/messages for deletion.
2. Choose Send & Receive.
