Hello!

Befor the P1i I had a K750i and I think to remember that I could scheduling a sync-job by a intervall of time - but in the P1i I can't find any option like that.
Is there a way to do that?

And is that a SMS-Shortcut like put the joystik to the left on the K750i?

Thanks, Alex

No, and no. But you can use GDesk for the shortcuts, and the Bergamot project is working on an interval- sync (or Swim).

Thank you for the gread tip Swim - I will try it out...
For GDesk I'm to crude, I think

And where can I find a protocol for the sync? I have set the option to "Show summery after sync" but only one line "sync is finish" is shown...

The sync on the phone is pretty weak, no doubt about that. I don't think there is a log at all. So apparently the idea is that you should sync, and then go over to the computer you synced from to see if there was anything new. I don't use it regularly myself, and only for calendar- entries, so it's not a problem - but I know it would piss me off if I had to guess what I just got back on the phone every time..

About the sms- thing. You can still put a contact(and then sms, call, etc.) on the short- cut menu.

Do you mean a shortcut for a new sms?

Not sure I understand your last message there, but if you do mean that then you can add a icon to the shortcut menu on the standby screen to "new sms" so that when you click it yoiu go straight to the message creator.

select an icon, more -> replace (or add) -> common task -> new sms
Then when you click on that icon you go straight into creating a new SMS

No, sorry - my last post means a template to write standart SMS like "Happy Birthday dear ....." and so on... and I will select the right message and send it to some one, only change the name in "....".
