I've just got a new P1i and I don't understand how to get an animated gif to work as a screensaver.
No matter what settings I use in screensaver and backlight, all that happens is either the screen goes dark or the screen stays on - no screensaver.
I bluetoothed the gif and it was received OK and I can view it and it seems to work, just not as a screensaver.
Any help gratefully received.

Answered my own question.
Restarting the phone fixed it.
Seems restarting the phone helps in a lot of issues.
