Hello everyone !
After reading lots of posts on this forum I have decided to try my luck and send the phone to service due to the horrible green tint. The service changed camera module and in my opinion there is a clear improvement, check attached pictures

could you try to take a picture of clean white sheet. Or prefably a yellow sheet.

That is definitely an improvement. I wonder how SE would react to everyone returning their p1 for a new camera module?

I second that... sent back my P1i mainly for defective speaker but also made a note about the camera. They replaced both modules and the speaker is completely fixed and the camera seems to be fixed as well...

may I ask how you sent it back and to whom? Also under the manufacturers warranty I’ll assume that the repair was free of charge, since it is not functioning as the phone was intended to function and you are within the 1 year warranty period...

Is the low light capability any better or does the image still slow in low light and does it seem to snap pictures any quicker ? ,thanks, log.

No, the image is still quite slow in low light, but the pictures are snapped quicker and better in my impression. Another thing that I have noticed: I can actually hear the auto focus mechanism and it can be felt also when the camera is focused.
