> should i take my t68i back?

i tried searching but couldn't find much that would help
the lower left corner of the screen is heavily tinted yellow - it's especially noticable when the phone is idle (showing the clock) or when switching on or off but also when in general use
it actually looks like a CRT monitor that needs a damn good degaussing :s
on top of that i have the same problem that seems to have been reported quite a few times - 'SOS calls only' appearing in place of 'UK Vodaphone' even when the display reports 4 or 5 bars of signal - this mostly happens at home (berwick upon tweed, england) but happens slightly less in newcastle (where i go to college). this means that it takes 4 or 5 attempts to send an SMS and that phone calls are just impossible :s. i phoned vodaphone this morning and they said that i should be getting full signal and suggested trying the SIM card in another handset...
...so i borrowed my friend's t68m and it works fine with my SIM card - no SOS message
another thing i've noticed is that the phone won't display SOS... until you pick it up :s sending SMS messages using your fingertip with the phone on a desk gets boring after a while...
i've had the phone about 10 days and got it from phones 4u in newcastle (£24 purchase price & a £16/month contract...not too bad
)
thanks for any advice you could give me

and on a similar vein... something weird is happening to the screen on my T68 (upgraded to T68i s/w).
a red 'squiggle' has appeared in the middle and is gradually growing - it looks a bit like it is being drawn by an etch-a-sketch. I've searched a few websites but haven't found any reports of happening anywhere else, so I'm going to take it into a Vodafone shop this week.
anyone else come across this problem?

These phones are so obviously faulty, they will be replaced i`m sure, but remember to write down or backup to another phone all the info that you will loose.
