Hi people.

I've been reading alot today about flashing etc- i have a K800i and it appears that flashing it to a K810 is quite popular.

However, all the guides i've seen seem to cater for flashing on a PC. Can it be done on an Apple Mac? I'm running 10.4.11 incase anybody asks...

Hi.

That doesn't seem to explain anything-i've downloaded XS++ and once opened it displays a .exe file, which isn't Mac compatible...

i'm not sure if the above post explained it enough for you, so to summarise.

you need to use windows ON your mac (can only be done if you have an intel mac). i personally use bootcamp to boot into vista when flashing my phone...

if you have an intel mac then you can either use bootcamp or parallels, OR VMware... i'd personally recommend bootcamp as being the best solution.

Ah, that makes more sense. I don't have an Intel Mac. I can run VPC on it, but i can't get the internet to work properly.

Guess thats that out the window then!

Cheers!
