Hi!

Anybody knows if Yahoo! Mail works with push mail ?

If so, I have two questions:

1. How to configure it ?
2. Does it consumes a lot of kb of data ? i.e. does it carry an important communication overhead ? I'm in Canada and data plans are EXPENSIVE!

As far as I know Yahoo! are not offering this service currently to free accounts, if you have a paid account this may be a different matter. I presume you are talking about IMAP in this case anyway.

On the actual bandwidth usage, I don't actually know any figures, sorry. If someone does I would be interested in this too.

I tried imap idle, it ran quite well (you can even get it going over wlan if you know how) but given that i'm on a payandgo sim at the mo it cost too much. The idle usage seemed quite low, a few k an hour, but was pretty fast.
