What area are you in? My reception has been getting better recently. I'm mostlt GTA. It's becasue the GSm network with Rogers is relatively new. So it's very patchy... they're trying to cover lots of areas but leaving gaps everywhere.

i'm in markham, near the edge of scarborough (near steeles).
yeah, it does seem to be getting better slowly, but it's still weird, cuz one of my friends get like 3-4 bars reception in one area, but my phone doesnt even detect any service there. i was right next to my friend too. very odd....

I find the reception crappy in most buildings and in many areas I don't have a consistent signal strength Rogers rep told me the t68i does not have as good antenna as many other phones. GSM connection is similar to the signal I had on Nokia 6160 TDMA and Analog.

The reception on my phone is the best I've ever had when I have a signal. Also the TDMA network is fuly developed and the GSM is still new so that comparison is not really valid. It's not the phone it's Roger's GSM Network. FIDO does seem to be a lot better in the GTA they've developed a great network but just don't have as much coverage as Rogers. If you phone is unlocked borrow some one's FIDO SIM card and give it a test to find out for sure if it's your phone or Roger's My guess is it's probbaly Roger's. (I use Roger's too)

Reception in Vancouver is pretty spotty. It seems to work just about everywhere except my office (downtown tower) and my house (KITS).
