Hi All,
Im opening this topic because i havent seen a good enough thread regarding this subject.
My issue is the shutter sound/noise on the K850 and the fact that you cannot turn it off.
I have seen one review where the guy had a setting "off" on his camera shutter sounds menu. However on my K850 there is only Sounds 1 - 4 but no OFF option.
The shutter sounds are really annoying! and i cant find any way of turning it off, even with the phone in silent mode the shutter still sounds!
With the old K700 you was able to get a program to edit the phone structure and delete or edit the shutter sound, however those programs do not work with the K850.
Any one know of ANY way of sliencing this annoying feature? Possbily a firmware version that allows the OFF mode?
If it helps, i am on o2 UK with firmware version: R1CA029

your only choice at present is to use davinci to change the firmware to another CDA. This costs 10 euros.

this thread which gives the same generic firmware I used and which can turn the camera sound off

So to confirm you used davnici to flash your phone to:
K850i R1CA029 CID52 K850 1201-9794 CUSTOMIZED UK/ BLUE WESTERN-EUROPE
And then you can use the SEUS to update to the latest firmware v37?

I have k850i on o2 from carphone mine has turn off shutter sound which i have done and my firmware is R1CA029
