I'm about to unlock my Globe K800i so I can use a ATT or T-Mobile SIM. Has anyone experienced anything bad (ie BRICKING, instability, errors, etc) after having their their Sony Ericsson phones unlocked by these celular phone stalls found at malls?
I talked to one stall person and he said he can unlock my phone for 1,000 pesos or 23.16 US dolalrs or 11.25 quid. Is this cheap/expensive/outrageous?
How do I know if the unlocking method being employeed is permanent or just a "patch" that would be overridden when I upgdate the phone's firmware?
