Yes, finally, R8BA024 firmware for K810i is officially released by SEUS. I just updated mine successfully. Here is my firmware info now:
R8BA024
prgCXC1250811_GENERIC_SM R8BA024
.......
Customisation
CDA102568/101 R8A
APAC
...........
Content version: PA4

Java SW version:
JP-7.7

Text revision: CX
Update service SW
UA version
CRH1069176 R3B025
2007-07-24 14:26

What I observe so far:
- FUNCTIONALITY CHANGES: In this new firmware, the two buttons above the screen, button A (near the earpiece) and button B (near video call camera), whatever they are called, CANNOT be used to change one camera picture to another in landscape mode. In thumbnail mode, both work normal. To check, from standby, press button A, and it brings you to the last shot in landscape mode. Press it again, no effect. From standby, press button B, it brings you to pictures in thumbnail. Click one picture to make it landscape, press button B, surprise, NO effect. In the old R6BC002, button B could be used to move one landscape picture to another by pressing it successively. No idea why SE removes this feature.
- We cannot highlight one menu to another in File Manager i.e. music, theme, picture, and application--including subfolders-- by using button B. In the old R6BC002, we could.
- MINOR FLAW : Activate camera, press button A, select shoot mode, switch among the modes. Notice that NO blue highlight when it comes to Frames. Very minor flaw..but it is better to have it perfect, right?
- When date stamp is activated in camera setting, it takes longer time to save pictures. Old bug since previous firmwares..
- APAC user has thinner font on all Java application and games due to changing of main firmware, from China main to Generic main.
- as a result, no more Chinese T9 feature available. The available ones are English and Bahasa Indonesia T9.
- Therefore, for APAC users, there is NO more full size symbols feature available when writing SMS.
- improvement in Java platform, now 7.7, change in content version, text and Update Agent firmware.
- smoother UI? Can't say much about it as it may be psychologically-biased.
- changes in icons during USB File Transfer Mode.
- FIXED BUG: No more conflicting display problem between More list background color and More List image. In the old R6BC002, you noticed that the background color of MoreList was displayed several pixels above although you had inserted an image for it, resulting 'not full' or 'gap' display although a correct pixel size as Theme Creator suggests had been applied. Particularly if you put More List background color of 'not in the same tone or gradation' as your Morelist image, you will see this problem. It's fixed now.

NOTE : It seems now MoreList Highlight image overlaps the boundary of Morelist image when scrolling the last part of item. Just two to three pixels.
- in Service Menu, click Test 1, and you'll get Connect: Key ERROR. In the old R6BC002, it said Connect: Key OK. No idea what it means.
- Note: What make me surprised is that I don't get CHINA main firmware anymore although my customisation is APAC. However, I still get English, Bahasa Malaysia, Filipino, Tieng Vet, Chinese...and of course my mother tongue, Bahasa Indonesia...
New way of flashing system maybe?? I used to have R6BC002 CHINA SM firmware, but now it is changed automatically into GENERIC SM...

Updating mine now. APAC.
Never thought they'd release this for the APAC.

Haven't checked the whole features as it is 01.00 A.M early in the morning here in Indonesia. Just little bit surprised as I get Generic main firmware with APAC-Asia Pacific customisation. Have to explore further. Hope that this 'bizzare' combination is just OK.

@G-izzat
As we have the same APAC, do you also get GENERIC SM R8BA024 instead of CHINA SM R8BA024?

Just finished updating. Yeah, I got the Generic main as well.
This is weird.

And first thing I noticed is that going through the menus are slightly faster than before.

Aha, thanks God it's not only me, then. For APAC users, with this SEUS R8BA024, we don't have Chinese T9 anymore, right?...
Hm, just wonder whether SEUS has made some mistakes in this case perhaps?

Ahh, yes. I just noticed that. No more Chinese T9. Hmm, must've been a mistake from SE. I'm sure many of those who uses Chinese T9 will be disappointed about this.
