Is there any code one can do to make an k800i start without a sim card? I would've liked to just listen to music or take pics.

Try this it may work:

**04*0000*0000*0000# followed by on ‘Wrong Pin’ number

I have it copied nto a notepad document for this, altho not sure if it works for ur phone or what 'followed by on ‘Wrong Pin’ number' means either but hav a go.

You don't have to start it without a sim in to stop yourself being disturbed whilst listening to music or taking pictures. Just start it in flight mode, if anybody calls you, they get "This person's phone is switched off."

Also, when a text message arrives, you won't get an alert until you next start it up again in normal moded.

No need to risk damaging your sim
