Firmware upgrades are free, but if you want to debrand, ie remove Vodafone/Orange ect branding and have another firmware installed, you have to use this method.

R8BB001 is available for free on SE website, you just have to dl SEUS and connect your phone via the usb cable

sorry I was wrong because the R8BB001 is not yet available on SE website.
There is still the previous FW.
It is strange that they don't have the last firmware...
Maybe they did not validate it due to some errors in it?
