Can any phone be modded or does it need to unbranded/unlocked? Also how safe is modding or is there a good chance that you can mess up your phone and turn it into a brick? Because I'm new to modding (roger locked k790a) I want to be sure that modding the audio and video to louder sounds and 35fps camera respectively can be done and done safely.

35 fps on K790 only exists in dreams, or in some member's signatures. If you see it, ignore it. It's unsafe & could damage that little K790 of yours. As for modding, it's almost like para-jumping off mountains, etc. You'd better know what you're doing! As for sound, that's already in progress. In life there's only one guarantee and that, my friend, is death. My advice to you, read both sense and esato forums carefully before modding. Only then will you reap the rewards.
