My P1i does not recognize the WORD and EXCEL files brought over from my earlier phone, a Nokia 7710, saying "incorrect formats". I used Quickoffice on the N7710 too. Any hints on how to regenerate word and excel files on the P1i? Are there any converters required?
I do not know what version of QuickOffice was on the N7710.

open in word on pc and save as Word 2000 or soemthing. Then your P1 should recognise them
