hi, im trying to encode videos in 3gp to my phone...
but sometimes there's some video synchronization issues...i used to encode video files at 29.97fps into my old k750i phone without problems...
any idea whats the framerate for k850i video playback?

It's a firmware bug which
is working on fixing.
Only certain formats will work - I have yet to figure out which, though.

with normal/auto profile i allways have 27-30 frames per second...with night profile (who i often use, because you get better quality, but less fps) i have 7-10 fps....

Always use input file's frame rate or you will have jerky playback because of duplicated/deleted frames.
Overall bitrate, video+audio shouldn't be over 384 kbps.
On my videos (320x240 MP4) video is 260 to 300 kbps depending on what is played, if picture is mostly static lower bit rate is good enough. Audio 48kbps, mono (sample rate the same as input).

hmm for now i'm using auto mode for the encoder's fps setting, which means following the video's fps...but i still get some synchronization errors (speeding up for a while at the beginning) during movie playback...
but overall its fine
ive encoded movies with the mp4 encoder but output format is .3gp; at resolution 320x240 (for fullscreen in the phone), at 500kbps, 400kbps and 300kbps (to test if theres any visual difference)..... the quality seems awesome at less than 500kb video file size...
seems that the 3gp encoder cannot encode resolution at 320x240...
although playing the movies without playlists or a proper media player that can customize sequence of movies really suck... i have to play them one by one in the File Manager...
oh and another reason for knowing the fps is to also find out how smooth playing java games will be...i still notice some flickerings during white screens...so i assume its way below 60...maybe around 25-30?
