I would like to know if its possible to use your music player at the same time as you are browsing and doing other stuff in your SE smartphone (in this case a P1i)?
if its possible how do I manage to do this? I remeber that my old V800 worked just fine when you put the music in the "background" but in this phone when I try to just click the taskmanager up in the right corner the musicplayer stops..
I honestly think this is a MAJOR drawback and bad programing for such a smart phone no?
well as I said it might just be me who cant get it to work but Im pretty handy with phones so I really dont understand why..
but if anyone can tell me whats going on I would appreciate it..
thanx

Yeah just get your music playing and then press and hold the back button (on the left hand side of the phone as you look at it) and this will bring you back to the standby screen with the music still playing

hehe I just found out what I was doing wrong....
You need to open the music player first and then load the song.. if you only click the song from destination it will open the player but it will close as soon as you "leave"..
(a bit stupid if you ask me..)
thanx anyway!

oh you were loading the file from the file manager?
I would have thought it would have made more sense to use to the music player myself...i understand where you are coming from however because when i first got my phone it took me a few hours to get to grips with the basics and a few days to find out all the little quirks UIQ is a bit different to normal menus, but define normal? they are only normal as we are used to them.
To be honest i've found the phone to be excellent and despite what many reviews about the funny menu structure and keyboard say i have not had a problem. Yes they take some getting used to but when you buy a phone and a very expensive phone such as this i dont think you are buying it for a week are you? Normally you buy it as a long term device.
Seriously just play around with it for a while i'll become second nature in no time
If there is anything else i'm sure people here will help you out.
