Sony Ericsson has secured a deal with UEFA to be a ‘tier-two sponsor’ of the Champions League.
The deal is thought to be in place already, although neither UEFA nor Sony Ericsson were able to confirm it.
Sony and Sony PlayStation are already two of the six headline sponsors of the tournament, which also include Vodafone, Heineken, MasterCard and Ford.
