Im having headache problems with my handset,
I took it into store and there saying cos it's a online item ive got to arrange a courier.

Phoned up Vodafone and the person has told me it needs to be taken into store and sent off for repair, im just wondering cos my warrantys up tomorrow whats the chances of me exchanging the phone for something else ive been reading alot of problems with the Nokia E65 and tbh I can't be wanting something thats freezing, re-booting, loosing sound etc..

Do Vodafone shops do exchanges on online items anyone here know?
my local Voda shop seem clueless to me

No. You deffinatly need to sort it out with Voda Online Kerry. All that the person in the Voda store can do is let you use their phone to call Voda customer services and then you sort it out over the phone.

Just give them an earful over the phone and tell them you've never heard of service that bad on other networks. Tell them you've had the problem and been trying to report ot for a few days and you've fobbed off everywhere. They'll sort you something out. If they say that they have no records then say it must have not been put into their system properly. A lot of call centre workers are pretty rubbish at saving the details properly I've found, not all, but a lot. I find the angrier you are the more you can get out of them. If you play it right you might be able to get them to send you something as a sorry. or knock off some of your line rental for a month.

If it was within your 14 day returns / exchange period and you have the proof of purchase (delivery note) and all the goods your received then the store could have and should have either replaced your faulty phone or exchanged it for another model that is free on your price plan, as a goodwill gesture.

Out with this 14 days, stores have to send the phone away for repair.

Some stores in my region will just blatantly refuse to do returns. Its like working for P4U working for Vodafone.

I took the handset down New Street Birmingham and explained everything, there was a bit of confusion but after the Store Asistant logged into my account all the needed details were there,

he then rang up Vodafone to confirm and then I was told they'd send me a replacement tomorrow morning to my address

I wasn't at all happy having to carry the bloomin phone around all day and over the weekend present but anyways its sorted now,
im getting a Exchange E65 hopefully it will have newer firmware on it cos the phones are way buggy!

I asked if I could change to a Nokia N95 8GB and he quoted me
£200 for it

has the price dropped? it's £400 I thought
btw as much as I would love one ive not that kinda cash on me

btw I read that Vodafone will take your old phone off you and give you £100 of a upgrade at what month can I do this? cos it looks as though there saying if you fancey a change do it whenever you like
