There are no viruses on the UIQ, so do a favour to yourself and forget anti-virus software.

i've never ever seen a mobile virus the past 9 years.
so i would not reccomend installing additional sofware which (proble) slowsdown your device.
just don't install every tool you find, dont trust every link you get... think before clicking and youre allright

I did get sent a .sis a long time ago while walking down a street (It was for an old Symbian Nokia phone I think, I had a SE non smart phone at the time) which I believe was a self propagating via bluetooth virus. I doubt its really a problem with all the signing required for UIQ3 apps at the moment. If it could currently be broken we would currently be seeing much more freeware for the platform, possibly along with viruses.

I wouldn't personally worry about it at the moment anyway.

think android might change things....

OSS pladform ... but containing many personal information.
so i think it is THE best platform to hack and take advantage of.

if you're worried about getting viruses... KEEP YOUR BLUETOOTH OFF!

As far as i know there aren't any viruses for both S60v3 and UIQ3 Symbian OSs. Both need signing of apps etc. . . So theres VERY VERY little chances of getting viruses on them.
