Hi guys,
I posted my problem in the Firmware Overview thread (http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=157121) , but I've had no replies there, so I'm trying here with a bit more information.
On Friday my phone said it had a new update ready so I downloaded it over the air and it started the update and it was OK until it rebooted and after that, it's not been the same. If I turn it on now I get the SE start-up logo, and then it simply vibrates and lights up the keyboard every 16ish seconds. It repeats this 'forever' (I've left it on for hours and it still keeps doing this).
I sent an email to SE support and got a message back saying that I should try SEUS, and I did, but when I finally got it to work (after changing the USB port) it reported that the firmware is up to date.
I then tried MyPhoneExplorer and it was unable to connect, however I can browse the file system from my computer over USB cable.
The second part of the SE support email reply says that I should post the phone to their service centre - this is obviously a lot of hassle so I'd like to fix it myself.
Any help is very much appreciated!

Yeah, it looks like I'm going to have to send it off as per SE's instructions. I am however a bit tempted to wait until 10th when the next software update should be available...?!

Man, even if SEUS says "up to date", there's an option "continue anyway".. that's what you should have done

The first time I tried, there was no update and I didn't do that, but the second time I tried the SEUS, it said there was an update, and it did update the phone successfully, but the phone still didn't work. So I don't believe that I could have done anything.

Try this... Will repair the phone:

and don't use clients like wotan or davinci (that cost) while you can do this for free and much faster...
