Is there any software update to make alarm to go off when Sony-Ericsson P1i is turned off? I've noticed the alarm is working only when :
-the phone is switched on
-the phone is in Flight Mode
-the charger is conected with the phone

Nope. Unfortunately, no way.
Leave it on, that's the only way.

I don't know that, but I wouldn't be surprised.
P1 (and other SE Symbians, for that matter) can't do it :-/ too bad

Thats realy shocking for a SE Symbian phone! My W800, W900, W880 and Nokia N80 alarms all work when the phone is off.

Which only means that those phones are never truly off.

In the Blackberry 8800, the alarm would sound even if the phone was switched off. Another cool feature was putting the phone to sleep at a pre-determined hour every day - saved battery and I could sleep peacefully without unwanted SMS/calls disturbing me at night! I miss both those features in the P1i!
