I should imagine it's the volume (amount of space it takes up, not loudness!) of the phone in cubic centimeters.

Yeah someting of that sort. More on the likes of, how much air or water the phone will displace.. damn i was bad at physics.

cc= cubic centremeters and measures volume.

A cube which is 1cm side x 1cm high x 1cm long = 1cc.

@goldenface thanks dear

that's even more confusing for me cuz how can we measure WIDTH, LENTH and HIGHT of phone in one UNIT. (cuz there are so many phones with so many proportions)

like in case of nokia 5310

Size Dimensions 103.8 x 44.7 x 9.9 mm, 44.8 cc

Remember that phones aren't exactly those measurements. Some might be curvy and have special design features the the bottom of the W910 or so.

WSize Dimensions 103.8 x 44.7 x 9.9 mm - 44.8 cc

Its a bit confusing because one side of the equation is in millemetres and the answer is in Cubic Centremeters but if your were to re-read it as:

10.3cm x 4.4cm x 0.99cm then the answer would make more sense.
