> BST-40 not fully compatible with P990?

I've been using. the BST-33 battery included with my P990 for a while now. While the performance is still consistent & reliable, I've been thinking of beefing up the phone's battery uptime with a BST-40. I visited a Sony Ericsson store to request for the battery but the salesperson advised me against it saying it is not fully compatible, when I asked in what way, he didn't really answer me & I had my doubts but can anyone who has used the BST-40 on a P990 share their experience and confirm/dispute the thread title?
