i been thinking about this "new" FW to k850 some days, so i spook with
techical support some minutes ago, (Linköping Sweden).
i thought it was realy odd that they didnt know anything about some NEW FW.......this is what
support told me.
THERE IS NO NEW FW TO K850....R1CA037 and R1CA029 is the same SOFTWARE, (only that
released k850 with both version)....
SO IF YOU HAVE R1CA029 AND HAVE SOME SOFTWARE ISSUES, (buggs)..ITS NO POINT TO INSTALL R1CA037 BECAUSE IT WILL NOT MAKE ANY BIG DIFFERENT...(its the same software, but 2 different versions)
the real new software coming soon...there you have a DIFFERENT FIRMWARE WITH REAL BUG FIXES.
can maybe be good to know...................

it explicitly says on the SE website that the update is scheduled for Jan 2008.
Or maybe it was on the paki version cuz ours is a country of dimwitted dolts

R1CA029 had the flash sync problem which is not present in R1CA037 (i had both installed).

Well, i can't certainly call them "same firmware"...

The sync problem is gone in the new update.
Maybe it is just a fix, but you can't say it is all the same as the first other one.
So if someone got that problem, they probably will be very happy for this fix.
I understand that it will come a real new firmware soon, but when will it come?
Someone says late December, and others says Januar 2008.
