> need advice for new phone

my k750i is bricked and needs to be repaired which would cost 100 bucks. What are my other options? Is there a new sony phone or other brand that compares in quality with the k750i in this price range? If not, i'll get it repaired...seeing as a new se will cost alot more anyway

I would say go for something along the lines of a K550i or the T650i.
The T650 is a more expensive but has a 3.2MP autofocus camera instead of the 2MP of the K550i.
The screen on the T650 is higher resolution (240x320 compared to 176x220).
On the other hand the K550 is CyberShot branded (if you believe it makes a difference).
The T650 is 3G compared to the K550's EDGE connectivity.
They both have an LED flash/video light and auto-focus so no worries there in getting pictures at least as good as your K750.
The T650 can video conversely the K550 has an infra-red port (some people still use these, I don't but someone must
).
I myself would go for the T650i but I already have a K800 and a K850 so I'm not in need of a new phone. The T650's design is a pleasure, very unique with the light effects and the themes have special features on certain days of the year (e.g. on valentine's day little hearts will fall across the screen etc etc), it has a certain 'wow' factor. The K550 is a little more plain by design, more industrial if I could use such a word to describe it. I'm sure it's a great phone though, a good work-horse like the K750.
Obviously, the opinions you don't have to listen to, but I like to think I'm right most of the time

Honestly if you spot a W900 on your place. get/buy it imediately
as a multimedia workhorse W900 is excellent but imho it's more powerful than K750. comparing it with K800. W900 still shines as a camera and video camera, for gaming it's SE's best no doubt, for video processing W900 reigns as king
for conncetivity there are only few phones that can beat that - it's the K850/W910 but videocall quality is imho better thanks to the Nvidia processor
