I tried to find the answer on the official SE site and several forums, but so far I can't solve it.

MY PROBLEM:
1. I need Russian text input on my P1i.
2. Actually I dream to be able to type Russian, Japanese and Greek, but I guess this would be impossible for UIQ3, so now I'm only hoping to have Russian.

MY P1i:
Purchased in Taiwan in Nov 2007. Phone: R9J005, Organizer:R6F41, CDA: R9A, Bluetooth: R1D
1. Existing language support: Traditional Chinese and English ONLY
2. Using handwriting and keyboard I am able to key in French accents and German umlauts.
3. Russian, Japanese and Greek letters appear correctly, but no input.

So far there is no any language support for Trad.Chinese P1i on the official site of SonyEricsson.

I need Russian (Japanese and Greek) input for dictionaries, sending SMS, etc. I've been looking for the solution since last August when I purchased M600i and P990i, but alas....
I used to have a small Russian keyboard program for UIQ2 on my old P800i, I was happy then.

Somebody suggested me to download the language packs "CXC162108 R6F41" from the official SE site; I did, and it didn't work out. The Organizer on my phone is CXC162156 R6F41. Why the language support of SonyEricsson is so poor??

Can anyone tell me, if there is keyboard application for UIQ3?
There are such applications for S60, for example:

But for UIQ3????

Thank you in advance...

I got a reply from SonyEricsson, saying that their mobile products are "designed for local use only", so for the present time it's not possible to add text input of other languages.

That is, you can't add Asian languages input on European phones, and vice versa. Gees...

Too bad I can't write UIQ3 program myself... Hopefully some developer/company will make some keyboard applications...
