> a problem with k750i - w800 convertion
Bookmark topic
Hi! I've recently flashed my k750i to a w800 using XS++, and i folowed the instructions carefully, and did what it said on the left side of the XS window, like where it says to disconnect the phone and that. I flashed the file system with the included w800 files. After flashing it said on the laft to disconnect the mobile, and reinsert the battery, then the usb cable, so i did so, but when I connected the usb to my mobile while holding down the C button, my PC kept on detecting it, but XS woud'nt. The mobile is now a w800, but it dosnt have any of the walkman features, like the walkman player, or the start-up walkman mode. But what I was wondering is if i updated the firmware on it, would the walkman player and all hat get installed, or will it muk up my mobile??? I thought it would be best to post here first, just incase.

What would happen if i updated the firmware through SEUS? because only the main system files are there, but not the other software like the walkman player. would my phone be in danger of bricking?

It will be converted back to k750 because the GDFS in your phone is still K750's one...

Aha!! I've managed to fix my problem. It was somthing very simple, the usb drivers wernt up to date. But, since i got the new drivers, i've been able to reflash the w800i firmware using XS++, and evey thing is good now!
