- Hi guys im new here, and recently got the M600i
- With a lot of trouble ...everything seemed to go not my way i finally have the world update with the r6 version... (i used to have chineese letters and singapore)...
- However when i had the previous version installed the one starting with B?
it seemed to detect contacts from the sim...
- Now with the newest version i cannot get the phone to detect contacts...
- i go to more - view folder - sim?

I had similar problems.
I replaced the SIM with another and started the phone. Then I put the old SIM back again and now the SIM phonebook could be read.
Perhaps that will work for you too?

Its just odd when i got the phone it could not read it
when i flashed it with the previous firmware (accidently)... it read it..
now with world generic... it does not again...
