Just got my p990i today and it doesnt seem to have opera browser. i read in a previous thread that it is called 'web' on the phone, but i dont seem to have this either.

Press for a long time a key with @ on it, on the right side of the phone.
Or go to Multimedia in main menu, iy's there.

if i press @ contacts open up. in the multimedia menu there is only radio, music video, online and online. when i clik online its just a blank screen with open link tab on it

Hey, @ is a hardware key, which can be assigned to many things. So maybe different user made it connect to contacts.
So, I also said to go to MULTIMEDIA menu,
you went to MEDIA PLAYER which is different.
Web is in MULTIMEDIA MENU of P990.

my P990 ddnt come with opera as its main browser but downloading opera mini 4 is easy enough and works well.

The Opera browser is not called Opera anywhere. It's just plain "Web" on the icons. That's why you can't find it.

And if you can, download opera mini from opera.com. I find its much better than the bundled (opera?) browser on p990 and p1i.

guys thanks alot for your help. opera is there its uder the name orange world.
one other thing, i bought my p990i second hand it didnt come with the screwdriver to remove the keypad or the special cover to hide the joint once its removed. any idea where i can buy this from.
