Hey Guy's,
It's been a while since i was here, but then again i didn't really had any trouble with the latest firmware for K750.
After a while a bought a new phone, K770. I LOVE IT. it's small, much thiner than K750 and 3MP cam.
So right after i got it, i came here.. and to my surprise there wasn't a topic on K770 firmware. So let's start one..
Oke i don't remember what my original firmware was, cuz i updated the phone right away. So the current version is:
R8BA024
Bugs:
I don't really got any .. yet (apart from the lack of zoom function while making a photo, but i don't know if thats a bug or a normal function). Maybe someone else?

I believe the lack of zoom function at the highest resolution is normal. In any case, I don't think it's a good idea to use digital zoom as it degrades the picture quality. I'm also quite curious about the scarcity of K770 threads here compared to other models. I wonder if that's because there're no bugs or problems with it, or if it's because there are not much K770 users here. I personally think it's a pretty good phone and would like to get it as a replacement to my current W810. I remember starting a thread for pictures taken by K770 users a while back but response was lukewarm at best.

Had mine couple of weeks now. No problems to report firmware wise. Let all the others fix the problems on the K810 & K850, I,ll stick with a bug free K770. Also had K750 before this and swapped due to similarity. Been available on Virgin for a while now. Free ipod with a 18 month contract.

About the zoom function.. i had time to play with the phone.. and i tested couple modes.. so the zoom function is only available at VGA resolution.. that's pretty lame.. cuz even with K750 i had zoom function at 2MP.. so i still suspect that it's got something to do with the firmware.
Furthermore i noticed a problem with the main menu.. it's now supper slow.. it' looks like the software is freezing.. so when you push the up or down button.. it wil respond with a delay of couple milliseconds.. and you have to push it really gently otherwise it wil jump over to other shortcut.. weird.
but still .. the les bugish SE phone i had to this day.

I believe the newer K750 on the latest firmwares are not able to zoom at the highest resolution either, so you could be right about it being due to the firmware. But I wouldn't call it a bug though, as I think it was intended to be this way.

ywah, it's due to the firmware. they started doing that with the latest k750(CID49).

some changes i noticed for this firmware..
the standby clock when you press the volume buttons is now displayed. previously when you press the volume buttons on standby..it just shows up the entire screen.
some weird bug im getting..
when searching for contacts..for letters A and N..when the first contact in the alphabet list had a space (let's say i have "a prepaid" as the first contact), searching for other contacts with the same first letter doesn't work (let's say im looking for allan). same with letter N, i have the first N contact with space and searching for other contacts starting with N doesn't work also. Weird that it only happens to those two letters..
