Well I suppose it would be the same as vodafone in a sense so really they just ask you:

"what has been your most demanding role"
"when have you went beyond the call of duty to help a customer"
"whats your biggest achievement"

Stuff like that but they want the answers in as much detail as you can provide

Good luck

@miss_uk

Things that spring to mind straight away, is when any company does a telephone interview with you then they will be looking for how you sound to other people so speak clearly, don't ramble and sound enthusiastic.

About the company:

Their flext tariffs have been hugely successful for the company as instead of allocating x amount of minutes and y amount of texts a nominal amount is given to spend on either minutes or texts.

Web n walk had also been hugely successful, they have ploughed loads of money into pushing this. £1/day for payg and from £7.50 / month contract.

My Faves is the latest deal they have so swot up on that too.

From Wikipedia:

T-Mobile UK was previously known as One 2 One, and before that as Mercury One 2 One. It was the world's first GSM 1800 network when it launched in September 1993. T-Mobile offers both pay-as-you-go and pay-monthly contract phones. The pay-monthly contracts are branded as Flext for both 18 month and 12 month contract customers as of February 2007; T-Mobile's 12 month contracts were previously branded as Relax. The network also offers other contract options for off-peak users and customers who call within network predominantly. T-Mobile launched their 3G UMTS services in the autumn of 2003. Additionally there is also the U-Fix plan which is a monthly plan which can also be topped up with pay-as-you-go extra credit.

Once the smallest of Britain's four GSM operators, T-Mobile is now the United Kingdom's third largest mobile network, behind O2 and Vodafone, with over 19.2 million subscribers. This has been largely due to the virtual operators such as Virgin Mobile that use the T-Mobile network infrastructure.

T-Mobile have been the official sponsor of English Championship side West Bromwich Albion since the 2004-05 season. They also partnership sponsors of Scottish Premier League clubs Rangers FC and Celtic FC.

As of 1st November 2007 T-Mobile UK is launching a UK version of the My Faves Tariff which has shown success in the USA. The new tariff gives unlimited calls and SMS as well as MMS to five selected numbers which can be changed at least once a month. The tariff also gives an allowance of anytime any network minutes and SMS.

T-mobile also offers a number of wireless broadband options both through usb and data card slot offering unlimited internet access anywhere you get a mobile phone network.This offers speeds of up to 3.6mb.The tariffs are 12,18,24 month Web'n'walk Plus 12 18 at £29 Web'n'walk Max 12 18 at £44 and Web'n'walk Plus 24 at £20 Web'n'walk Max at £35. The plus has a fair usage of 3gb and the max has a fair usage of 10gb even though there is a fair usage there is no charges for going over you may just receive a letter after repeatedly going over asking you to slow your usage or advise you to change form the plus to the max.

Go get'em and good luck!

To be fair, they may ask a little bit about the company, but more about the role itself.

You'll be lucky if they go into any depth about the tariffs, the costs or even the phones in the interview, they want to know about you and how good you are at selling, prolly not alot else.

Well she's been told to research the phones so I guess they will want her to now the basics about a few of the best sellers, N95, K850i, W910i, G600 6500 and how she will push the best features of each.

Thats what I'd do anyway. Its a good idea to learn for instance that t-mobile is German owned and is big in America and Germany etc.

@miss_uk

If you have worked to targets before then let them know as Sales will play a big part in the role obviously.

Has anyone got the Careers Email address or possibley an address for them?

I think the interview today was to short and with them knowing my info on my CV I felt like I was treated unfairley that I want to know where I actually failed with the interview...

I didn't pass thru to the next round because of :

Non Retail Experience and No Passion..

they knew I hadn't much retail experience as i stated this in my appliacation, the guy didn't ask me anything for me to show my passion towards the company neither, I want to findout the real reason where I failed otherwise why did they look at my application in the first place knowing I hadn't had any of this experience.

are they recruiting on how people sound?

I have to findout lol
