Don't you just hate it when you have annoying people exspecting you to text them/speak to them everyday when theres nothing more to say?
Well this is me,
I often turn my phone off then I get alot of people snarling at me saying are you "Fobbing me off" im like well no...
Got a good mind to say how I feel,
Just can't see the point in phoning up someone everyday to chat about alot of rubbish, i'd rather talk all in one go and wait a few days or even a week!
You lot get like that aswell?

@miss uk - I guess that's the MAIN purpose of the mobile phone . . . to CHAT (call/3G), TEXT, exchange images - MMS etc. etc. If it was NOT for those . . . I guess they would be CALLED: flower VASE (ya know just for decoration . . .

)
In my case, I seldom use my fone (calls/SMS) only when in TRANSIT or mobile . . . as I still highly depend on usin' the landline for business transactions . . . btw, landline's at my end are SMS-capable too, provided you have to USE the same network when sending those SMS . . .
Most of the TIME . .. I am really forced to USE my remaining CREDITS (which mostly I use only HALF of it . . .) just in ORDER to consume it totally, that's why I am TEXTING some old- members here occasionally just to break-even with the amount I am payin' the network I am with

@miss uk, I hardly chat on the phone, but I do sms quite a bit. I see the mobile phone as a tool for communication, but I definitely do not feel obliged to be within easy contact of others. I turn my phone off when I do not wish to be disturbed. And like you, I see no point in holding a long pointless conversation on the phone regularly. My calls are usually short and for a specific purpose, for instance, to arrange a meet-up, etc. I prefer to chat with my friends in person, not on the phone. Maybe guys tend to be like that, or it could be just me. I have to say that most of my guy friends do not enjoy chatting on the phone, especially when it's their girlfriends who make them do that.

Omg! I cant live without my phone. I dont care if one doesnt call me

just like moses said that an eye for an eye

However If I miss someone I just buzz. I mosly call and text one person and that is my fiance. If Im in a good mood mond I just go online and chat. If I feel like

I switch numbers coz I cant be without a mobile. Then I get a misscall in my private number

because only one person knows it.

When i call someone on their cell, i expect them to atleast pick it up, and i get even more pissed when its off. Remember, you bought the cell so that YOU can talk and OTHERS can call you too.

I'm quite concise on the phone and I frankly don't understand how people can yadder endlessly on about nothing - just say what you need to say and get off the phone.
I hate it when I don't receive a text back though, that really annoys me.

I agree with miss UK. It's also why I very rarely use Live messenger or such like, it really bugs me when I'm doing something and somebody pops a window up for a chat about absolutely nothing and then gets upset when I tell them that I'm working
I guess I'm just a grumpy, unsociable old git

I know how that feels. And that's also why I usually appear offline when I'm busy.
