They say that if you have never used an UIQ Smartphone you should not buy this. But what do you think.

Well I got mine yesterday so only used for a day. Just moved on from a P990i.
Depends what you want to use it mainly for.
Accessing basic phone functions such as contacts list & texting is not as straight forward needing you to use the touchscreen icons (or scroll wheel) instead of using proper keys. I rarely text and tend to phone same handfull of people so no issue for me.
I'm not dissapointed with it at the moment but would have liked some things to be different.

well...what they say is a bit dumb...myself, i find s60 v3 "complicated", and love UIQ3...in the end of the day, you will need to adapt yourself to any OS if you spent alot of time with other OS, its as simple as that
so, give the w960 a try

Not bad at all really just not as good as that on the P990i/P1i but much better than the P800 one!!!
Similar to the old psion Revo PDA plastic toothpick type. Does the job.

If music is a big deciding factor along with the all-in-one device then I personally prefer it to the iPhone and in its size/weight class its the best choice.
