i see that in p800 mobile internet page the images they say "backgrounds" are only 208x144, the visible area with flip closed.
but what about flip removed??? is the virtual keboard always showing in status mode or what appears in status screen?? no way to use a full screen background?
please p800 owners explain this :/

No. It isn't. I tried the emulator in the SDK from Sybmian. Donno why they only supply that small backgrounds. Perhaps becourse in most apps the background isn't showing?

I would have loved to have the clock dispalyed on the screen while when the flip either closed or open but i dont think its possible.

Clock shows in both modes. There is a status bar (like in Windows) in open mode with clock in it. Pretty sure clock is also on closed mode.

so if you leave the phone some minutes without touching it, what appears in the screen? or does it go off? if it does, i believe you activate it by touching it anywhere. once then, what do you see? exactly?

Well. Most apps you run in open will take up the full screen. And the phone app is the same as in closed mode I think... Still don't have the phone so I might be wrong about that. But I don't think there is much point in a full screen background since it's not used a lot.
