I was going to ask the same question, coz 2moro my phone will be fixed ( I hope ), and then I'll try to FSX it, but I don't really know where to put the "Files_to_upload" folder, do I put it in the same folder where the .exe phone XS is ??? or where ?

And please can somebody provide me with every files folder, like where swf go "tpa/....", for themes and sound drivers and so......

Oh and what drivers can work on my W550i ?? like accoustic and stuff ?? and wich ones are the best ??

Ok I was in the same situation as you guys were in cause the instructions around here sucked 'cause they'll lead you to places that's soooo outdated. So I'm willing to help anyone out.

You do not need a folder name files_to_upload or crap like that. Once again I emphasize crappy help with people around here leading us to OUTDATED tutorials.

So with the latest XS++ (I'm using v3.1 Darwin). Forgot where I downloaded it so I can't help you out there -_-;;

Leave the software open.

Turn off/shut down your K810 phone. Remove the battery for 1-2 seconds. Reinsert your battery, but DO NOT TURN ON PHONE. Hold "C" on the phone, and insert the DC-65 (or DC-60) cable from your computer USB to the fast port on your phone.

KEEP HOLDING "C".

In XS++, just hit "connect" (everything should be left as default...don't change anything I guess)

On the left side of XS++, you should see a bunch of text. If done correctly, you should be able to see "Ready for Operation!" at the bottom of the texts. At this point, you can release the "C" button.

At the bottom of the window, you should see a 'configuration' area. Click on the "FSX" button. Then click on "start FSX" just above it.

On the left screen, it'll tell you that it's activating things. You just have to wait. Once finished it should read, "Device FS mapped...OK!"

On the right side in "File system explorer" go to:
tpa/preset/system/menu/

On your computer, go to your folder with the menu icons and menu.ml file. Drag everything into the "enumerated files" side of XS++.

When the uploading is done. Click on "Shutdown".

Unplug DC-65 (or DC-60) cable. Remove battery for 1-2 seconds. Reinsert battery. Turn on phone. You should now see the new menu.

@ekjl

Spread the word. It's hard to repeat one self all the time, you know. Laziness is a human condition.
