Hi Bondja,

I have a K800, not a W580, but they should still have a lot of stuff in common...

Assuming you are running Window$ XP or similar, when you connect your phone, and select File Transfer.
You should see a new drive called 'PHONE' and if you have a memory card, a drive called 'PHONE CARD' in My Computer.
Are you connected to a network? One PC I use had Drives E: and F: mapped to network drives, so I had to move network drives to Y: and Z: because the Phone memory uses these drive references.

Also, you shouldn't be connecting in phone mode, thats only if you want to use the phone as a modem.

John

Hi I have a K750, and when I disconnect the phone just pluging out the cable (because the PC refuses me to "safely remove it") it doesn't get reognised until next PC reset. For themes and games, I think your best bet is bluetooth.

I have a w580i and I just plugged it straight into my laptop (xp) selected file transfer and it popped up as a removable disk. I then put themes and games on in my computer -> F:/ and used itunes agent to put music on.
