Well, you could always set the phone clock back 1 hour so the timestamp is right lol

Only jokin This is a known bug on UIQ based phones but afaik as of yet there is unfortunately no firmware update to fix this
(well, I havn't heard of it being fixed yet anyway)

Are you sure your Local is configured correctly?
City, Time zone?
It's in Control Panel > Device > Local

Huh? That's a new one on me - I had a M600i for a year (on various firmwares) and never noticed any problem with the SMS timestamp.

Whatever the problem is, there has to be more to this than simply "it's a known bug".

@roklipni
If every single SMS is timestamped +1 hour, I suggest you change your time zome +1.
I'm not sure this interferes in the old alarms, but you can make a test.

Oh sorry, more info then I just rememered reading about it in a few threads, one of which I have been able to track down with the search function (P1i Bugs thread) where qaz7d0 mentions it in the last point in his post here. Obviously this may not apply to the m600 but I expected it to simply due to both handsets running on UIQ.

Well, I set my timezone to GMT, which is CET -1 hour. The SMS timestamp was +1hour which is CET, but I need my clock to be CET as well, not just for the SMS.

Hmm...this might be a wild goose chase but have you ckecked to see if there's any daylight saving updates enabled?

Control panel - device - time and date - more - set updates
