I discovered a new thing today abt T68i:

When I insert my SIM card when battery is fully charged, I get 190-200 hrs of standby time displayed in Status.

When I insert my friend's SIM card (Different service provider) I get just 52 hrs of standby time displayed.

Isn't it weired ?

Maybe the other SIM card is on a network that's using EFR, and your's isn't?

Older SIMs also run on 5v, newer ones run on 3v... newer SIMs also support clock-stop mode which makes the SIM consume less power.

On a phone as small as the T68i, the small power savings (a few mAh) makes a big difference in standby time.

u said it....the standby time is actually determined to an extent by the network u r on as well as the version of the sim card used.....so dun fret it....
