As a new W960i user I'm wondering how others are getting music synced to theirs.

I have an extensive iTunes library in non-DRM m4a & mp3 which I get onto the W960i using the iTunes plugin syncmyportable. Not getting exactly what I'm after with this method yet but much better than just dropping tracks on using the included software.

Is there any software available like iTunes for walkman phones that will maintain Mood & Star ratings & allow complex playlists and play count sync etc.

If you have a large music library and only some will fit on your device then creating AutoPlaylists with iTunes or WMP is perfect for ensuring you put your highest rated tracks on the device & a random Selection of lower rated tracks (based on least played for example). If you re-rate a track it alters the Autoplaylists always ensuring you have exactly what you want on the device. It's what makes iTunes so great!!! (and WMP with Windows devices). And yes, I did consider the iPhone but not without 3G data speeds and the W960i is a better all-round phone in my opinion (until iPhone MkII with +16MB storage comes anyway).
