> Gmail IMAP push + WM and iphone

With gmail now allowing IMAP ...Ive heard its possible to get push mail to a mobile device.
Im currently using an HTC kaiser and iphone is it possible to get Auto push on these without having to do a manual send and recieve?
Ive setup Gmail IMAP on both and they work fine but dont get the emails auto pushed.
Is there anyway?
