My questions.


1.Is it faster than k800?

2.What is A200 platform?how is different from k800's platform?

3.how fast is the camera start time?coz in k800 it takes more time say 3-5 seconds to get ready...how long does K850 take?

4.What is the safe amount of memory card to invest in 1Gb ,2 Gb ,4 Gb?

5.Does the strips on the side have any light effect?can anyone post a picture of THIER PHONE?

5.Is it worth to buy?

6.Does it have megabass option?

7.What performance gain can we expect from the upcoming firmware?

8.How are the newly arranged key pad?

1. That really depends on what you use it for. Navigating the menus does feel a bit slower on the K850, but using the camera is generally faster.

2. It's a new system with some added features like the Media menu and other enhancements. It also changes the 2 soft key system to a 3 soft key system and has the addition of call and end keys.

3. It starts in about 3 seconds

4. Go for whatever you need. K850 can handle cards up to 32 GB, although there aren't any of these available just yet. I've got a 6 gig card in mine.

5. No, they don't.

6. Yes, it's worth buying (btw, you made a mistake here by calling this question number 5 as well)

7. It does have Megabass.

8. Upcoming firmware updates should make the phone a lot snappier and the camera photos will get better.

9. The new keypad works fine and only takes a few minutes to get used to.

--- 4 GB works just fine.

--Nope. It doesn't glow.

5.Is it worth to buy?
--100% Yes.

6.Does it have megabass option?
---Yes.

7.What performance gain can we expect from the upcoming firmware?
---Camera? Faster UI? Improved Java Engine?

8.How are the newly arranged key pad?
---Excellent. No doubt about it.

yeah u can go for k850i personaly i gone for k810i and i love it sound clarity is good and camera is also good most important is u can modd it,but what important is k850i is new and it has A200 platform which will take time to used to it yes once the new firmware comes i think it will rule the roost for ever,i love k850i but as far it is costly at present i have gone for k810i!

Does A200 brings only addition of three buttons...is it uiq?

Are the processor same as that of k800?

Personally i feel that processor should be faster as K850 deals with much larger picture(5 MP)

How about battery guys?
They said its 30% extra than the k800..is it true?
And i saw videos which featured that laser precision theme(sorry if the name is wrong),can we get more themes like that over the net or is it inbuilt?sorry coz i have been having t610,k700,k750 and now k800..all of which doesnt support those kinda themes.
I am planning to buy it by this week end. So eager towards my dream phone..

One more question...

How is the music quality?
When i bought k800 initially it had worst music quality,but after some firmware updates,its rocking now..so how is the present quality of the music player...
I know our SE doesnt slow down even on heavy memory sticks..how does K850 perform?

No, it brings so much more than that and is not UIQ either. The K850 is much faster than K800 at processing photos even though they are bigger.

Battery is great and lasts about 3 days at normal use. Music is much better than on K800 because it's running A200. And it doesn't perform any slower with large memory cards.

The UI is terribly slow compared to a K800i. I only noticed how slow it was when I used my K800 the other day. Also, the viewfinder is pathetic! The framerate is very poor and reminds me of the S700i viewfinder when you enabled night mode!

---they have the same processor but the k850 has a different flatform thats why it's slower than k800

---a new OS., just by observing the phone you can tell the difference between k850 and k800i

--- theoritically it can support 32gb of memory., but according to SE it can support 4gb but i think it can support up to 8gb but it will slow down because there are more files that the phone needs tor ead

---i dont know but right now i'm deciding between k850, n82, and g800

Guys i also want to know about the multi tasking function.
Is it better than k800?
Coz with k800 i am really having problems.when i run opera for say am hour,my phone will hang coz it consumes loads of memory..what is the java memory size in K850? In k800 it is around 1 MB..can anyone tell me how much is java heap memory is using memoryup software?

I usually multi task..like run two opera mini,music player,msg.ing..etc..

i expect one big difference...A GOOD, BALANCED SOFTWARE-CONECTION BETWEEN THE CAMERA AND LIGHT SENSOR..(im quite sure that the issue lay there...the light sensor telling the camera its little darker then it realy is)

but of course you still get awesome pictures...(the only issue is some portrait in daylight...which the next fw probably will fix
