> Set Up problem P990i

My son has just purchased a brand new P990i. Trying to set up and the phone will not take the 0000 default code. Can't get hold of anyone and no obvious help with such a problem on the Sony website.
Any ideas anyone ??

What are you trying to set up? If it is the mms/internet settings from the SE website then they tell you what it is when you fill out the form.

if its brand new, it HAS to take 0000, os thats the default... otherwise its not new

What are you setting up
Where do you need to put in the code and for what purpose
Where did you buy the phone, Private or Dealer or Serivce Provider
because its possible if its a Branded Phone that they have changed codes and you could find those in the manual.
