Sucks to the people that bought the original P1i lmao, unless they're just announcing something that the phone already has to the public?

Hi all

I don't think it is built in but like those in some Scandinavian countries where in the box they got a GPS unit and the Map's application included in the price i think it was Way Finder but check the P1 early threads for details of what was included with the P1.

i really dont think it is built in coz the price difference between a gps enabled p1 and a non gps p1 is just Rs. 2,000 which is approx 50 USD or 25 GBP, i might be wrong but thtas wat i think... its too less a difference if it were a hardware difference

The fine print on the right side in the ad probably explains that this is a package offer with phone, Bluetooth GPS and software.

Edit: Yes, indeed. It says "Bluetooth GPS receiver and GPS application with .. months validity"! I can't read the numbers but it is probably "12".

This ad got my attention too...if theres some hardware change, then the price wont have been just a marginal hike and it would have been launched worldwide.I feel its either a software or the GPS headphones included in the box.

But here in India, whats the point of having a GPS when u can ask the local dude "Mein kahan hoon??"
