Welcome to Esato and Merry Christmas!
No one has this phone yet, except you. There won't be much experience to draw on.
Is it a Personal Network or a public one you're trying to connect to? Does it require a pass key to connect?
BTW, post some pics and some first impressions of the phone!

Need more information.
What router do you have for the wireless? What kind of security is enabled?
Do you have a firewall running in the router?
Some routers(like mine) just plain refuse to work with some devices like my p1i.
BTW, how is the w960? My friends been trying to get it

Not true! Its been freely available in UK SIM free & other places for over a week now.
Anyway I've had no problem getting WiFi working and its the same procedure as with other UIQ3 phones.
Once you've created the bond with your wireless network (which I assume you have) you then need to go into the Connections options and add it to the internet group. I set my WiFi as first priority then 3G as my second so I always use WiFi at home).
Control Panel
Connections
Internet Accounts
Ensure you have your WiFi name shown here which is the one you should have when you initially created the connection.
Then select the Groups tab. I have a separate group for email & internet but by default you just likely to have internet.
Press/select the Internet Group
You are likely to have your GPRS/3G accont showing here already.
Select Add new account then select the WiFi account to add to the group. You can then set the preference.

Had a right ball ache getting mine working and had to fiddle with the router settings.
Basically if you have your router set to WPA2 security forget it, you'll need to switch to WPA (mine supports a dual mode so didn't need to fudge with Vista)
Also if your router is 'g' speed then you'll need to set it to 'b' speed as the W960i only supports speeds up to 'b' (again mine supports a dual standard so goes at full pelt with Vista then slows down when mobile connects)
As long as you have set your passphrase and have the correct security and speeds as above it should connect.
Took me a hour or so of fiddling to get there but it works a dream now!

Mine works fine with WPA2/TKIP but not with WPA2/AES. It would appear to connect OK but it hadn't really at all!
