Hi Guys..still am not very familiar with my P990i & still have some questions to ask:
Is there any way to record call conversations on the phone like as in the K750i?
The opera 8.5? that it comes bundled with is far slower than the opera 3.1 (jar file) that i installed and as opera3.1 cannot download ( it says 'not enough memory'), is there anyway to speed up opera 8.5 preinstalled on the phone?
Is the ad-hoc bluetooth PAN supposed to be on all the time. Tried closing the connection but it automatically comes on again after 2/3 secs
Thanks in advance

AFAIK, there's no way to record phone conversations in P990i. It used to have this feature before it was commercially released but when it was finally released, SE changed their mind for some reason and singled it out. As for bluetooth Pan, yes it's always on so it's no biggie. I don't know about Opera 3.1 but Opera 8.5 is fast enough for me and I have no complaints, but you can try the latest Opera Mini version if you want a faster surfing experience. I don't think you can install another Opera browser while the default one is still installed and I have no idea if it can ever be uninstalled. Sorry if I'm not of much help on this one

Hmm... if by Opera 3.1 you are thinking of Oprea Mini, then you should know that it can not download anything by itself, so when you try to do that Opera Mini is opening inbuilt Opera (8.5 or...) for that task. The problem that they are both memory hogs, and p990 does`t have enough memory in the first place so... you should close all the other programs that are running with Swiss Manager or built in task manager prior to runing Opera(s).

I don`t have problem with speed of my Opera 8.5, I just prefer Opera Mini `cause it is lighter on my GPRS charges

Latest firmware (R6...) is also a MUST
